The renovation brief for the outdoor area was to transform a tired small deck, extending the outdoor entertainment area and create a modern, resort inspired space including a pool. The clients were particular about a low maintenance solution and ensuring safe spaces for their children around the BBQ and pool.

Challenges
Achieving an even plane between interior and exterior levels and between decking and tile surfaces over multiple substrates - existing concrete slab with waterproofing and natural ground. There were low height restrictions due to replacing tiles previously directly fixed.
Solution
Outdure incorporated composite decking and tiles into the design for visual and textural variation. The decking boards continued the interior floorboards and was also used vertically as fence and boundary detailing. Outdure tiles were used as coping around the pool, all surfaces supported by QwickBuild including prefabricated frames and steps delivered for onsite speed and efficiency.
